Holiday Salsa Dance Party on Saturday, December 18, 2010
It's December! The last month of the year!! Can you believe it?? Seems like 2010 flew by, but we have one more big party for you to enjoy before we welcome 2011!! You've all been asking and wondering when is our next Starlight Party....well the wait is over! Our Holiday Salsa Dance Party will be on Saturday, December 18, 2010!
Let's end 2010 right with the Cultural Explosion guaranteed fun formula: Dance Lesson, short performance, and tons of hot social dancing at the gorgeous Starlight Ballroom featuring one of the largest hardwood sprung floors in NJ! Don't forget the Salsa Paparazzis taking your pictures...don't miss it!!! Dress Your Absolute Best!!!
PLEASE NOTE: This is a BYOB event, no coolers please. Starlight does have water & soda for sale.
We have much to celebrate...a great year of dancing with awesome memories: amazing shows, classes, parties and bonds that will last a lifetime. We want to celebrate our Salsa family, and toast to another great year of fun! We will also be celebrating several birthdays on this night.
Celebrating their birthdays at our Holiday Salsa Party will be: Dimitri Chamos, Jennifer Desbas, Natalie Kansburg, Wilson Palacios, Karina Reque & Javi Zavala to name a few...
So come out and celebrate it all with us...celebrate Birthdays, celebrate 2010, celebrate the end of the year, celebrate the holidays, celebrate it all at our December 18th party!!
The night will begin as usual with our fun Salsa dance lesson. 2 levels - beginners and intermediate - taught by Juan and Christina at 8PM. Then the party will kick of at 9pm with Music and Social Dancing.
We also have a short performance from our Starlight Dance Center Salsa Choreography Class (choreography taught by Juan Calderon).
So come out and dance the night away to our Latin Music Mix. Mostly Salsa with some Bachata, Merengue & Cha-Cha-Cha. Dancing on this floor is a real treat, so celebrate with us Salsa-style!
The Starlight has a beautiful and elegant atmosphere - it is one of the nicest ballrooms studios in New Jersey, with a huge wooden dance floor (over 7,000 square feet!) and classy ambiance. Dress to Impress please. Absolutely No Jeans or Sneakers.

Parkway: Garden State Parkway take Exit 153 A if traveling North or 153 if traveling South - take Route 3 East and follow the Route 3 instructions below:
Route 3: Take Route 3 to Main Avenue/Nutley/Passaic Exit. You will then make a left on Main Avenue. Take Main Avenue until you reach Route 7 - Kingsland. Make a Right on Route 7 - Kingsland. Travel to the next Traffic Light - Franklin and make a Left. Travel on Franklin to the next Traffic Light and make a Right on High Street. The Starlight Ballroom will be immediately on the left: 7 High Street, Nutley, NJ. Once you exit Route 3 you are only 1 mile away.
